Background....a little bit about me and my vision for this blog:

I am an unabashed music snob.

I don't say this to be elitist, nor do I say it to demean anyone.  The fact is that I truly believe that I know what good music is and what bad music is.  This comes from years and years of experience; music has been the most essential part of my life for as long as I can remember.  From the time that I bought my first LP to today where I have hard drives full of ripped albums, I can't remember a day that has gone by where I hadn't listened to something.  This musical journey has encompassed my life, and over this time I have been a DJ and music director of a radio station, worked for a music management company, played in bands, and devoured music-based literature. 

Now if you're like me (and if you're reading this that's likely), you probably love music lists.  I personally can't get enough of them, and every year I look forward to December because I know I'll be inundated with them.  My vision for this blog is to create lists about all things music - past, current, and future.  As is the nature with lists, all will be debatable, but hopefully anyone who reads the ones I post will find them interesting, and, perhaps, educational.
